Questions before you start a technology project.
Straight answers about scope, integrations, existing systems, support and how we work.
Getting started
Custom software and websites, commerce and POS systems, M-PESA and API integrations, cloud infrastructure, Linux servers, networks, security, backup and operational automation. A project can involve one area or several connected layers.
Tell us what exists today, what isn't working and the outcome you need. We use that to identify the systems, integrations and infrastructure involved, often with a short call or site visit, before recommending a technical path.
Yes. Many projects start with something that already exists and needs to be improved, integrated, migrated or made easier to run. We review the current setup first and then decide what to keep, replace or connect.
Yes. We're based in Nairobi and deliver most software and cloud work remotely, anywhere. On-site work such as network installations is arranged per project.
Commerce, POS & payments
Yes. We integrate M-PESA (STK push, Till and Paybill confirmations), Airtel Money, and card payments through gateways such as PesaPal, as part of a wider commerce, POS or business workflow. The exact setup depends on your provider and accounts.
Yes. That's the core of the commerce systems we build: one product catalogue and stock count, with sales from the counter and the website updating the same records in real time.
Yes. We can connect your POS or invoicing workflow to eTIMS so receipts and invoices are issued as part of the sale, rather than as a separate manual step.
It's an interactive demonstration of the kind of system we build, using sample products. No real payments, receipts or tax invoices are created.
Timelines & pricing
It depends on scope, integrations, data migration and how much of the existing setup has to change. We define the requirements first and then give a realistic, staged plan rather than a generic timeline.
Pricing reflects the actual scope, complexity, integrations, infrastructure and level of ongoing support. Share your project context and we'll give you a written quote based on the work involved, not a generic package price.
We work in clear stages with working demos along the way, so you see progress rather than waiting for one big reveal at the end.
Ownership, security & support
Your data is always yours. Ownership of custom code and other deliverables is set out in each project agreement, and we make sure you have the access and documentation you need.
Security is built in from the start: least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, encrypted connections, backups that are actually tested, and monitoring once systems are live.
Yes. Ongoing support, monitoring and maintenance can be included where the project needs it. The scope is agreed around the systems we operate for you, not assumed to be the same for every client.
